Heat Reflective Coatings are available for Metal Roofs, Tiled Roofs and Commercial Metal Roofs. The best efficiency values are achieved with white HRCs, but good results can be obtained with lighter colours too.
The preparation is usally the same, but with appropriate primers then HRC top coats, the benefits are endless, mainly being a cooler building and interior. They reflect thermal energy and also reduce surface temperatures.
These coatings have been researched in depth. But it is common sense that a white coating with the thermal reflection will make a building cooler, equaling less energy costs.
Solar panels are also more productive in the less extreme temperatures
